Have you ever felt that nagging feeling? That little voice in the back of your mind whispering, "There's more... you're meant for more?" It's a feeling that can be unsettling, exciting, and downright confusing all at once. It might just be your calling, nudging you towards a pivot.

I've been wrestling with this feeling myself lately. That sense of urgency, that pull towards something bigger, something different. I truly believe that God places these desires in our hearts, guiding us towards our true purpose. When that calling starts to surface, ignoring it can feel like trying to swim against a strong current. You feel off-track, misaligned, because, well, you are!

One of my biggest struggles is oversharing. I tend to bounce ideas off everyone, seeking validation and approval. And when that validation doesn't come – and often, it doesn't – I start to doubt myself. But here's the truth I'm learning: You shouldn't expect others to understand what God has uniquely placed within you to conquer.

It's not that people don't care or want you to succeed. Quite the opposite! They care deeply, and they want to protect you. They offer the "safest" advice, the path of least resistance. Think about it: if you're considering leaving a stable, well-paying job to pursue your entrepreneurial dreams, most people will advise caution. "Don't quit," they'll say. "Maybe juggle both for a while."

And while that advice comes from a place of love, it shouldn't be the deciding factor. It's crucial to listen to counsel, but don't let it override the calling that resonates deep within your soul. Remember, many successful entrepreneurs started their journey as a side hustle, nurturing their dreams alongside their full-time jobs.

So, how do you know when it's time to pivot? Here are a few things to consider:

• That Persistent Feeling: If you consistently feel a sense of unease or a yearning for something more, pay attention.

• A Growing Urgency: Does the feeling intensify over time? That's your calling getting louder.

• A Sense of Purpose: Do you feel like you're not fulfilling your true potential?

• A Passionate Pull: Is there something you're drawn to that ignites a fire within you?

If you're experiencing any of these, it might be time to explore a new path. It won't be easy, and there will be doubters. But trust that the calling within you is there for a reason.

Don't let the fear of the unknown or the well-meaning advice of others hold you back. Embrace the pivot, and step into the purpose you were created for.
